  • Im alright.....hate my jobs though.

I have come to realize that I cant keep doing what it is I am doing. Let me explain. At the golf course job, hours are decreasing. I come in at 12 and maybe leave no later by 6, if then. I have no problems with the hours decreasing. The problem is when I worked the night before at Kohls and get little sleep. So i feel like its a waste of my time to come in for that little time. And, when i do go in, Im easily agitated.  The other problem is at Kohls. Kohls is becoming increasingly stressful. One of the managers, the second-in-command, is making the overnight crew miserable. She doesnt schedule the right people for the right nights. She is making us try a different way of unloading the truck. This doesnt make sense because we have been doing the way we've done it for a year and a half! And we did try it her way in the past but that doesnt work! She is telling everyone how to do the job they are assigned. Like, she told the cardboard guy to fill all 4 cardboard totes before emptying one of them. I trained this guy and never told him to fill all  4 cardboard totes! I told him as soon as you get 1 cardboard tote full, you go empty it! And this was the way i was trained by the former 2nd-in-command manager. I was recently asked by a friend of mine if I was ever going back to college. I will as I dont want to do either job anymore. Next fall, I hope to be in some courses. I think I will quit Kohls first but not sure of when. Will remain at the golf course til next fall.

I am okay/alright. Shouldnt complain. I would like a girlfriend as I think I am lonely. I need to call and hang out with my friends Dominic, Chris, and Jon. So that is what I will be doing more, whenever I can, lol. For those who dont know, I am planning on going to Korea to visit a friend. I am not sure of when this is as we are trying to figure that out. And secondly, I need to get a credit card or more money into my savings to buy the airplane ticket. That is all for now-peace!

  • The Unofficial Start of Fall

I can not wait for more days like the one St.Louis had today! The temperature was in the mid-70's, sunshine all day with a few clouds here and there. Why do I love this time of year? The cooler temperatures mean winter is on its way. Football began while the baseball season is winding down. And the playoff races!!!!! There are 5 division races and, at most, 8 teams battling for the 2 Wild Cards! It should be another great finish to the season. I, also, like the fall weather because I love caddying in it. Majority of the caddies had to go back to school so I will be caddying alot more during the week! Only problem with caddying in the fall is looking for golf balls under leaves, but I will gladly look for them if it means cooler temperatures! Later all! Hope all is well with everyone.

  • Work related

Yesterday (obviously) was the first of the month. So Paul wrote me a check for his half of the rent and I wrote the total amount. I went to my bank just to see how much I have in checking account. And I was stunned to see I had over $1000 in there! Also, to my surprise, the rent for August wasnt as much as Paul and I thought it would be. It was only $500 something instead of $659. So I owe Paul a little money. Now, what all this means: A. I will be paying back my parents. B) Hours at Kohls are going up! This upcoming week, I work at Kohls Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, and Saturday night! Plus Im still working at the golf course Tuesdays thru Saturday. I was really surprise to see the 4 nights on my Kohls schedule, but I guess God is pushing me to make money and save for college!

Seedbearers was amazing!! There was alot of tests, struggles, headaches, Satan testing everyone, etc but all the work sites got finished! The site I was on got finished on Wednesday midday so half of the group went to another site to help them. I went to a different site cause they needed another adult. I got to work with another great bunch of teens. Friday night was very emotional! I probably cried more that night than I did my senior night. It was definitely a memorable week and I hope we go back there next summer! But that is in God's hands.

  • Breakthrough

Now I need to be patient and listen. This past monday I had an intense psych session. It was a great feeling for me to finally understand something that I've been going through since I was a child. Im not "cured" (nor do I think I need to be) just yet. Its weird and hard to describe what happened. At the end of it, I think Jesus was there with me and was hugging me! So, with Seedbearers less than 3 days away (!!!!!- Im EXCITED), I will definitely being praying to him for guidance.

On a different note, I have met someone. She is catholic, pro-life, been to DC for the Right To Life Marches, her family used to go to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, a sports fan-likes Football, Lacrosse, soccer. She doesnt hate baseball but doesnt know much about it, so i figure i could teach her some stuff. She has 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister still in high school. She is adopted from Bolivia, South America. I do not know if we are dating or just going to be friends. We are talking with each other almost every day. She is in school (at SCCC) and wants to be a beautician-hair stylist. My mind just went blank-I know there is a school for this; well, after SCCC she will go to this place. Because of her school schedule and my 2 work schedules, it is hard for us to see each other. I am hoping I do see her before I leave sunday. You all will get an update from me sometime next Saturday/Sunday! Love you all and take care!
